We are situated roughly 10-15 minutes away from the centre of Bath (by car). Bath has many interesting places to offer including the Roman Baths and Abbey. Lots to do including Theatre, antique shops and weekly markets, there is an abundance of restaurants to suit everyone from Italian, Indian and Steakhouses. And not forgetting the beautiful designer shops and chain stores. Sightseeing tours in open to buses and boat trips along the river Avon are also available. Bath also has a very good Park and Ride if you didn't wish to drive into the centre.

 

 

 

 

Bradford-on-Avon is a small, but very picturesque town offering buildings dating back to the 1600's, Saxon Church, Tithe Barn, and Narrow boats along the Kennet and Avon Canal. Boats and cycles to hire and many restaurants to eat including Indian and a very good Thai restaurant. It also offers shops. Just 10 minutes away.

 

 

 

Lacock Village, untouched and exceptionally pictorial. The village stands at the gates of Lacock Abbey which was founded in 1232. Famous for the film productions 'Pride and Prejudice' 'Dr Dolittle' and 'Far from the Madding Crowd.' Approximately 15-20 minutes away.

 

 

 

Castle Combe is another beautiful village which has not been modernised. It is dated back to the Roman times. The best time to visit is when dusk is drawing in. There is also a motor racing circuit www.castlecomberacingschool.co.uk. Roughly 30 minutes away. Nearby there are many golf courses, Cumberwell, Bowood, Castle Combe and Kingsdown.
